TELEMEDICINE Remote care: CRISAQ patients in Covid-19 emergency

Through a computer, a video call or simply by cell phone, we offer home care waiting for the emergency to conclude to reschedule their treatments, patients and CRISAQ staff have had to adapt to the circumstances required by the health contingency.

Our challenge

Implementing innovative and unique processes in Honduras, creating a teleconsultation and telerehabilitation model, which allows people to continue with the treatment from their homes, by opening a You Tube Channel, where the correct techniques and forms of treatment are presented. do your therapies at home; with monitoring of our therapists, psychologists, nutritionists, social worker through a computer, a video call or simply by cell phone; and with advice, therapies, exercises, permanent prevention and in our social networks.

We believe in this process

This type of care / medical appointment allows us to carry out a medical-therapeutic intervention respecting the social distancing measures established by the authorities and preventing further spread of the virus. What is telemedicine care like? It is quite similar to a normal appointment-care. There is a virtual agenda and calendar, where appointments for each patient are confirmed. The patient receives a call, or contacts CRISAQ, with the aim of scheduling a virtual appointment at an established time, with one of the members of the care team. Telemedicine care has multiple benefits such as: 1. You can have access to health care WITHOUT leaving your home 2. You can use your phone to receive this care 3. You will not spend on transportation 4. You can solve many of your questions and doubts without exposing yourself to going out 5. It is free 6. It allows you to follow your treatment from home.
